Yellowjacket is a supervillain identity primarily associated with Dr. Henry "Hank" Pym within the Marvel Universe. Pym, a brilliant scientist, initially created the Pym Particles which allow him to shrink or grow in size.

Plagued by mental instability and a troubled past, Pym adopted the Yellowjacket persona after experimenting with new chemicals and suffering a mental breakdown. As Yellowjacket, he displayed a more aggressive and erratic personality, often clashing with his fellow Avengers.

The Yellowjacket suit typically grants the wearer enhanced strength and flight capabilities via wings. It also includes the ability to project bio-electric blasts. Pym, in the Yellowjacket persona, was sometimes portrayed as a wife-beater towards his partner Janet van Dyne.

While Hank Pym is the most famous Yellowjacket, others have assumed the identity, including Rita DeMara who operated as a heroic version of the character. However, Yellowjacket is most closely associated with Pym's struggles with mental health and the darker aspects of his scientific genius.
